DESCRIPTION
Organic Pasta/Pizza Flour. Traditional 'O' type pasta flour specially blended for making pasta by hand or a domestic pasta machine. High protein flour that is ground from a blend of 'durum' and common 'aestivum' wheats. It can also be used for pizza base and bread making.
Nutritional per 100g: Energy 1450kJ/341kcal, Carbohydrate 74.0g (of which sugars 1.4g), Protein 12.0g, Fat 1.4g (of which saturates 0.2g), Fibre 3.1g, Sodium trace.
Fresh pasta recipe by hand.
200g pasta flour, 2 medium eggs. Mix together the flour and eggs to form a dough. After this you should knead vigorously for 5 minutes. Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth. After 15 minutes. Dust with flour and roll out on a floured rolling surface until thin, leave to rest for 5 minutes. Cut into strips, 10cm for lasagne or 5mm for tagliatelle. Allow to dry for at least 10 minutes before cooking in salted boiling water for 3 minutes and serve with a sauce of your choice.
