DESCRIPTION

Organic Agave Nectar is a delicious golden syrup composed of 90-percent fructose sugars and 10-percent glucose sugars respectively.The syrup is 25 percent sweeter than normal sugar, but has much milder qualities and a lower glycemical index (11 to 19) than normal sugar (68) and is a delicious and safe alternative to table sugar. The energy is therefore released more gradually and causes less fluctuations in the bloodsugar count. Because fructose is 42 times sweeter to the human brain than granulated sugar, less is needed to achieve the same level of sweetness. The less used, the fewer the calories consumed. Agave naturally has high concentrates fructose and sweetener inuline and can easily be dissolved in water. Therefore agave syrup is very usefull for baking products, dairy and drinks. Fructose is also a great deal easier to digest and use by your body than standard refined sucrose products or even the so-called "natural sugars" found in health food stores. Unlike fructose sweeteners that are produced chemically, Agave Nectar contains no sulfur dioxide, hydrochloric acid or other harmful toxins. High in natural fructose and nutrients, the Agave Nectar can be used to sweeten any food or beverage with fewer calories and greater flavor.
AGAVE SYRUP is an excelent alternative for sugar. Use 1/3 agave syrup in place of normal sugar.
